Dairy Cows and Biolight drinking water

cattle3 drinking

There are many assumptions how much a dairy cow would drink per day.
A good guess seems to be about 100 to 200 liters of water each day.
Water intake may double, during periods of heat stress and pending on location, temperature, weight and age of the cow (?). The drinking water shall be as clean and bacteria free as possible, which can be obtained with Aqua Biolight.

The working range of Biolight units is not tight. A smaller Biolight unit can be installed pending on the application and the daily required amount of contamination free, bacteria free, clean, healthy, vital and energetic water to be produced, provided that the drinking water can be recycled in closed basins (thereby avoiding environmental unfriendly compounds contamination spread by the wind like phosphates, nitrates etc.), prior to pumping into the drinking water troughs of the cows.

The hereunder mentioned calculations can be used as a guideline:

Base case:
Max. daily required amount of 20.000 liters Biolight drinking water for 100 cows.

Biolight800 without a recycle drinking water basin, or
Biolight400 and a ca. 20.000 liters closed drinking water basin; 10 hours continuous recycling @ 8000 liters/hr and automatic fill up.

It is strongly recommended that the Biolight energized drinking water passes a kind of filtration upstream the drinking water troughs pending on the influent water quality.

Remember:
The better the energized, vital water quality, the more milk can be expected per cow, the happier the cows are (they significantly calm down) and the better reduction (because of less belching and farting) of the environmental impact can be obtained!
